Welcome to IYANGA! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the IYANGA platform, including our website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using IYANGA, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Description of Service

IYANGA is an AI-powered fashion marketplace that:

• Provides AI-based body measurement technology using photos
• Connects customers with vetted tailors and fashion designers across Africa
• Facilitates the ordering and delivery of custom-fit clothing
• Enables designers to showcase and sell their creations
• Offers a community hub for fashion enthusiasts

Eligibility

To use IYANGA, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

AI Measurement Service

Our AI-powered body measurement technology:

• Extracts 80+ body measurements from two photos (front and side view)
• Requires accurate height and weight input for calibration
• Is designed for users between 150-220cm (4'11"-7'2") and 30-200kg (66-441 lbs)
• Provides measurements intended for custom clothing, not medical purposes

Disclaimer: While our AI technology strives for high accuracy, measurements are estimates and may vary. We recommend verifying critical measurements with a professional tailor for the best results.

By submitting photos, you confirm you have the right to share those images and consent to their processing for measurement extraction.

Marketplace Transactions

For Customers

• All prices are displayed in the currency indicated (NGN, USD, GBP, EUR, or CAD)
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe or Paystack
• Orders are fulfilled by independent tailors and designers
• Delivery times vary based on complexity and tailor location
• Disputes should be reported within 14 days of delivery

For Tailors and Designers

• You must complete our verification process to offer services
• You are responsible for the quality and accuracy of your work
• Pricing and delivery estimates must be accurate and honored
• IYANGA charges a platform fee on completed transactions
• Payments are released according to our payout schedule

Refunds and Returns

Custom-made clothing is made specifically for you based on your measurements. Our refund policy:

• Fit Guarantee: If an item doesn't fit due to AI measurement error, we'll work with the tailor to alter or remake it at no additional cost
• Quality Issues: Items with manufacturing defects may be returned within 14 days
• Design Changes: Cancellations after production begins are not eligible for full refunds
• Disputes: Contact support within 14 days of delivery for resolution

Ready-to-wear items from our marketplace may have different return policies as specified by individual sellers.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Submit false or misleading information
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Use the Service for any fraudulent purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Scrape or collect user data without permission
• Circumvent platform fees by transacting outside IYANGA

Intellectual Property

The IYANGA name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are owned by IYANGA. The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by IYANGA and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Content you create or upload remains yours, but you grant IYANGA a license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• IYANGA is a marketplace platform connecting customers with independent tailors
• We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of tailors and designers
• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the past 12 months

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IYANGA, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Dispute Resolution

For any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service:

• First, contact us to attempt informal resolution
• If unresolved after 30 days, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration
• Class action lawsuits and jury trials are waived to the extent permitted by law
• These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
